SPS Janta College est. since 2007, affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra offers courses in various disciplines viz humanities, Science, Commerce, Management studies, Fashion Designing and Cosmetology. It has faculties like Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor of Administration (BBA), Master of Commerce (M.Com.) and 2 Post-Graduate Diplomas i.e. PG Diploma in Fashion Designing and PG Diploma in Skin & Hair Therapy.
Realizing the rapid changes and advances in technology and the growing need of gadget savvy students, the college strives to upgrade the existing infrastructure and provides the best of the facilities.
The College has 3 academic blocks, more than 30 class-rooms, 12 different laboratories, 6 smart-rooms, seminar rooms, an air-conditioned library, audio-visual room, a gym equipped with latest equipments and gadgets, a multi-purpose hall having seating capacity of more than 300 persons, a huge outdoor stage, well stocked library with book bank facility, playfields for volleyball, badminton, cricket and kho-kho etc.
Mr. Giani Balwant Singh was a great teacher and a great visionary. He is the founder of Janta Senior Secondary School who came in 1957. Giani Balwant Singh wanted to uplift rural areas and believed that proper education could significantly develop rural areas.
Ranjit Kaur, our director, has been working for years and striving to provide quality educations to the rural and backward areas. Ranjit Kaur wants to provide education to those girls who cannot get an education due to their parents backward thinking,
